Wij ontvingen de volgende bedankbrief van het e’Pap project in Zuid-Afrika na onze gift:

Dear Anne,

Well at last, your amazing gift equating to R14,502 has arrived in our bank account and it was certainly worth waiting for.  I am so sorry it took so long.  I did here from Peter Godsell that overseas donations are taking much longer to be cleared and I have noticed that recently.  But a HUGE thank you for such a substantial donation which will make a great difference to the ongoing feeding of our precious children.

Since I last wrote, we have seen the end of Covid which was a very hard time for us (and everyone) and our schools have all returned to normal, and new ones have opened up.

It is now winter so feeding becomes even more important as the e’Pap porridge really gives the children a good start to the day and keeps away all the coughs and colds and we see much healthier children.  We are currently feeding about 5,500 children every school day of the year

This year we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary of feeding e’Pap all along the Garden Route.  I know it will be a wonderful milestone and include many of our volunteers, some of our donors and remembering all the people who have helped us ‘make it happen’ over the past 20 years.

Thank you so much for your ongoing partnership with us and for always remembering the children.  We appreciate you both beyond measure.

With love and blessings. Annie Ogilvie and all on the e’Pap team.
